Enjoy the inaugural Capital Pride BBQ Block party. Visit the Central Avenue 70’s block on June 13 from 1pm to 5pm to enjoy music, dancing, food and drinks. Waterworks and Rocks will be serving your favorite cocktails, walk onto the street in the block party area to enjoy dancing and music, drag performances.
Get ready to boogie at our Pride Party Cocktail reception with music, food, and special guests. Join us at the Palace Theatre for hor d’oeuvres and live music.
The mission of the Pride Center of the Capital Region is to promote the well-being of all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer-identified people and those affected by discrimination based on gender identity and expression.
The Pride Center of the Capital District has been serving the LGBTQ community in the Capital Region and beyond for 50+ years. In fact, we are the oldest, continuously operating LGBTQ Community Center in the country!
Each and every year the Pride Center of the Capital Region puts together celebrations and events throughout June – the OFFICIAL PRIDE month. Everything from Alt Prom to BBQs to a 5K run, culminate the Pride season!
