IN 2017, Hannaford showed their support for our Pride event and the LGBTQ community by coming out in a BIG way. Over 200 Hannaford employees from all over the region came out to march in the parade and celebrate in the park.

Now, for 2018, we are thrilled to announce that Hannaford has agreed to be our Official Sponsor for Pride 2018 Parade, happening on Sunday, June 10. The Capital Pride Parade, sponsored by Hannaford, will step off at noon. Save the date and make your plans now to join all of the marchers in this year’s parade that will be led by over 500 Hannaford employees!

The Pride Center of the Capital District has been serving the LGBTQ community in the Capital Region and beyond for 50+ years. In fact, we are the oldest, continuously operating LGBTQ Community Center in the country!

Each and every year the Pride Center of the Capital Region puts together celebrations and events throughout June – the OFFICIAL PRIDE month. Everything from Alt Prom to BBQs to a 5K run, culminate the Pride season!
